March 31, 2010
Midnight, March 31 is the end of the first quarter Federal Election Commission deadline. Please make your most generous contribution right away and ask your friends to do the same! Close to 1,000 donations came in to our campaign within a few days before and after the health care vote. Why? The voters are frustrated with my opponent, Rick Larsen, and others in Congress who are NOT listening to their concerns.
The new health care law will impact Americans' access to care and place huge financial burdens on employers. Already, companies like AT&T, Caterpillar, 3M, Verizon, Valero Energy, John Deere, and others are predicting they will be hit with higher taxes and will very likely change or drop some of the health insurance plans they currently offer.
If elected as your new Congressman in Washington's 2nd Congressional District, I will work for a full repeal of ObamaCare and replace it with a free market solution that will increase choice and accessibility. Will you help me?
There is hope! I am listening and I stand ready to restore your voice to its rightful place in our system of government.
Sincerely,
John Koster, Candidate for Congress Washington's 2nd Congressional District
P.S. I am very pleased to see our Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna joining with state legislators and governors from around the country challenging specific provisions in the measure as an expansion of federal authority beyond what is allowable under the U.S. Constitution.
