News Press Releases "Arab Spring" moving Middle East into Ice Age for democracy?

September 12, 2012 – Everett, WA -  "In a post-9/11 world, especially following the recent and violent revolutions in the Middle East, America's political leadership needs to be on high-alert and maintain constant vigilance of American interests abroad. At this time, it is difficult to separate the lack of leadership from the Obama Administration and the apparent need of the US Embassy staff in Cairo to apologize for America's 1st Amendment," John Koster said Wednesday.

"The immediate future of democracy in the Middle East is precarious as the 'Arab Spring' appears to be moving the region into an ice-age for democratic ideals", Koster continued.

"If our allies need to ask: 'Wait for what? Wait until when?', they are clearly uneasy with our inconsistent and undefined Middle Eastern policy. The President clearly needs to take steps to assure the safety of American citizens abroad and make certain the security of our embassies in this time of uncertainty."

"While my opponent, Suzan DelBene, is busy campaigning on a scripted slogan alleging some imaginary 'war on women', real war is being waged on American ideals, citizens and military service personnel.
